Now that we know what air masses are, we will learn what types of air masses there are.
There are 5 types of air masses:
Continental: Dry, usually travels dry land
Maritime: Very humid, travels through oceans, picking up lots of water
Polar: Cold, travels through cold areas
Artic: Very cold, travels through Antartica
