Air Masses
Air masses are bodies of air with horizontally uniform levels of temperature. Basically, a large group of air with the same temperature. There are five types of Air Masses:
Continental: Usually is dry. Normally, they are air masses that go through dry, hot land
Maritime: Its a very humid Air mass. Normally, they are air masses that cross oceans
Polar: A very cold Air mass
Tropical: Hot and fairly humid; normally air masses that go through the Equator
Artic: Air masses from the 2 poles
