Transpiration | Evapotranspiration

Transpiration is when water from plants is evaporated through the sun. This normally happens in a highly vegetated place.

Evaporation is when water from the land is evaporated through the sun. This normally happens in lowly vegetated places.

Evapotranspiration however, is when water from the land is evaporated, and water from the plants is transpirated, thus making the name Evapotranspiration. This occurs in places like rainforests, where its hot and its highly vegetated.
